Tony Herrick has published two new marine ebooks covering the sailing passage across the Indian Ocean. 1) "Indian Ocean Crossing Notes - East to West and West to East". 2) "Cruising the Islands & Atolls of the Mozambigue Channel" And of course his ebook "Welcome to Durban - A Sailor's Guide" - to assist sailors to make safe landfall in South Africa.

Leaving July 23, sailing direct from Key Largo to Cape Canaveral Florida--Ocean, no intra coastal and sailing crew can expect to spend two weeks at Cape Canaveral having new engine installed. Old one works fine, just want a bit more power. Then from Cape Canaveral to Chesapeake.

Used a similar tool many years ago - it was a very useful , especially when repairing a genoa on my sailing yacht where the clew's grommet/cringle had pulled out - this one looks similar. Seems expensive but I guess if it is strongly built it and because it might have an easy life, it should last the life of your boat. Over time it could turn out to save a lot of journeys to the sailmaker.
